Greetings, I’m trying to find some Rudden relatives. My G-G- Grandfather was John Rudden born about 1851. He married a Susan Reilly from Drumcor, Redhills, Co. Cavan. John’s family may have come from Drumcor also. On his childrens baptismal certs a Peter Rudden and a Patt Rudden appear. These children were born in the 1870’s. John left Ireland for the USA in 1877 and his family followed in 1879. Here they lived as Reilly as John was a wanted man. An article regarding the crime can be found by entering “Rudden, Reilly, Brides,1877 in Google.

I am seeking the birthplace and parents of my G-father Patrick Joseph Rudden. Born ~ 1880 in Ireland, came to US in 1900-1908; married Mary Jane Mccallion in Philadelphia; lived in Atlantci City NJ until his death in 1930.
Dennis, Try the 1901 Irish census that is online and free. Most Ruddens were from Co.Cavan and Monaghan.
Hi Dennis Rudden,. My Rudden line has a Patrick Rudden that left Ireland in1907, and headed for Philadelphia,, my Patrick was born 1871 ish, give a few years approx,… i also have his Parents , Martin Rudden, Bridget Mac Namee , all there info is on Ancestry Family Tree
